About

Hello, I am Biliana Nahual
My great passion is the area where the ancestral and the symbolic weave into art and ritual, promoting self-knowledge and self-healing. Accompanied by nature and its elements,
I guide the entrance of the dream- and imagination realms, as an invisible collective memory of reality, birthing new images to achieve personal realization and balance, in every moment and situation …

I am a ritualist and medicine woman, dedicated to ancestral and traditional healing. I am also an art therapist, expressive arts teacher and artist.
I explore and accompany personal and collective healing.
Especially guiding people in transition processes, liminal states and passages of life – I call spiritual threshold.

I am an animist and lean on spirit allies and the nature to support my work. I nurture and care for the relationships between visible and invisible realms.

For those who are not in a hurry:

My NAMES are the seals of my Self

Biliana – means “medicinal herb” in Bulgarian and is also related to a verb, whose meaning is “to enchant, to dream”. Nahual is a being who accompanies and protects the person on his path of growth and transformation. It represents a state of consciousness, love and service. In this energetic state we find what we call – our personal power. It is presence, wisdom and above all, it is the freedom to be, think and create. Nahual also means being with yourself, within you, in the center of you, which connects with the cosmos.

About my life and dedication…

My path is woven with different areas in the inner search for Self. I have experimented and studied so many apparently different things. All of them, however, have served as essential ingredients of the personal alchemy that I am. and are integrated into a holistic healing approach.
Since childhood, I have been in contact with invisible beings and realms of nature, respecting their existence as much as peoples. Today I still have this worldview that is equivalent in concept to
ANIMISM. From here I move and vibrate in my relationships, I bring advice and inspiration for my decisions and path. I believe that cultivating the relationship with nature, redefining our personal role, often based on anthropocentrism, allows us to live life in fullness and balance. This relationship forms the great basis of my work and accompaniment, on which I weave creativity and imagination.

Early on I discovered creativity as intrinsic to the breathing of my being. I grew up experimenting with many materials and pursued the artist’s path by studying expressive arts and sacred science. In Art I found a visible point where the essentials of life find an image and place, where the symbolic takes refuge and where sacred bonds can be expressed. Art gave me the opportunity to recreate myself in every moment. I know that the diverse worlds of my perceptions intersect in the IMAGINATION, as a faculty of vision and dreaming of a reality with many options, where there is always choice and change. I like being able to accompany others on this path of rediscovery and personal empowerment through nature and creativity.

My life path led me to learn various indigenous healing ways of communities from Central and South America and connect deeply to the use of rituals and ceremonies of transformation. The medicinal fire of the temazcalli and master plants work I facilitate, are devoted to sharing ancestral wisdom, to healing through nature and elementals. Deep alchemy can happen through these rituals and rites of passage that create links with the worlds. Through ancestral medicine that is the path to oneself. The earth element and its medicines expanded my curiosity to study Shiatsu, different massage modalities and Japanese moxibustion.

Curiosity about life, its colors and shapes invited me to travel a lot and see beyond the relationships between things, beyond the structures of thought. I have learned to live with transformation and continuous change, which helps me lose the fixation on forms and allows me to simply flow and be…

I weave my work with…

Art, ritual, ancestral medicine and psychology. I use art therapy to accompany the emotional and mental balance of the person, the expressive arts for the exploration of Self through creativity and imagination, remembering that we are Co-creators of our lives. I accompany body, mind and soul with body massages, energy cleansing, shiatsu and japanese moxibustion. I use ancestral healing tools to connect to the ancestors, traditional medicine to release emotions and recreate new patterns of feeling, personal and collective rituals to transform and create new ways of being.
